Woke: a term referring to awareness of issues that concern social justice and racial equality. Originating in the United States, it has also been used to refer to awareness about broader social inequality on issues such as gender and sexual orientation….
Woke resurfaced in 2014, during the Black Lives Matter movement, as a label for vigilance and activism concerning racial inequalities and other social disparities such as discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community, women, immigrants and other marginalized populations.

Parents call out teachers unions for imposing CRT in schools. Parents need to demand to see the curriculum.
Don't vote for board members who are supported by the teachers unions. Unions (NEA) are organizing to attack groups and individuals coming after CRT. Parents need to organize locally. Missteps and mistaken priorities pushed me to run for the school board. Campaign themes are: accountability, responsiveness, transparency, and independent thinking. We need a school board that takes its supervisory authority seriously. The community has expressed a desire for diversity of opinion and experience, and to have all constituents represented.
Local engagement is where we start to build the society we want.
